necessary (MSSN) calculations for genetic and genomic
association study design. Supported designs include
case-control studies, transmission disequilibrium tests with
affected-child trios, and single- and multivariate
quantitative-trait studies. The package emphasizes selected
departures from idealized assumptions, including locus
heterogeneity and supported forms of genotype and phenotype
misclassification. These factors can materially affect power
and sample-size requirements but can be difficult to
incorporate analytically. Published statistical-genetics
methods are implemented in a reproducible, primarily parameter-
and model-based framework with static visualizations and an
optional Shiny dashboard for interactive exploration. The
software supports prospective study planning; it does not
perform downstream association testing.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/biocstaging/actions/runs/39025771132</link><pubDate>Thu, 17 Sep 2026 13:18:55 GMT</pubDate><r:package>paweh</r:package><r:version>0.99.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://biocstaging.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/BiocStaging/paweh</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>paweh-01-getting-started.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>paweh-01-getting-started.html</r:filename><r:title>Getting started with paweh</r:title><r:created>2026-08-24 16:33:31</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-16 14:22:59</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>paweh-02-case-control-study-design.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>paweh-02-case-control-study-design.html</r:filename><r:title>Case-control genetic association study design</r:title><r:created>2026-08-24 16:33:31</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-15 16:16:59</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>paweh-03-tdt-study-design.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>paweh-03-tdt-study-design.html</r:filename><r:title>Transmission disequilibrium test study design</r:title><r:created>2026-08-24 16:33:31</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-15 15:47:04</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>paweh-04-quantitative-trait-study-design.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>paweh-04-quantitative-trait-study-design.html</r:filename><r:title>Quantitative-trait genetic association study design</r:title><r:created>2026-08-24 16:33:31</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-16 14:22:59</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>paweh-05-interactive-dashboard.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>paweh-05-interactive-dashboard.html</r:filename><r:title>Interactive Study Design with the paweh Dashboard</r:title><r:created>2026-08-24 16:33:31</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-15 15:47:04</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>paweh-06-sequencing-study-design.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>paweh-06-sequencing-study-design.html</r:filename><r:title>Sequencing-Based Genetic Study Design with PAWEH</r:title><r:created>2026-09-01 00:13:57</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-07 23:53:08</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>paweh-07-lrtae-study-design.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>paweh-07-lrtae-study-design.html</r:filename><r:title>LRTae power and sample-size design</r:title><r:created>2026-09-14 22:20:33</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-15 17:25:17</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
